Solid round die with a gun nose, for ISO-Metric thread M10 with 1.50 mm pitch and 6g class of fit, dimensions according to ISO 2568 standard with 30mm outside diameter and 11mm thickness, cobalt based HSS-E with lapped surface finish for threading in alloy and tool steel, martensitic and austenitic stainless steel and austenitic or austempered ductile cast-iron

Dies with metric threads are used for creating external threads on cylindrical or tapered objects, following the metric thread system (ISO Metric Thread System). This system is the most widely used globally for mechanical applications and is characterized by the designation "M" followed by the diameter and thread pitch.


Diameter and Pitch:
The diameter is expressed in millimeters (mm), and the pitch, meaning the distance between two consecutive threads, is also in millimeters.

Types of Threads:
Coarse Thread: This is the most common type, with a larger pitch for quick assembly and easier manufacturing.
Fine Thread: It has a smaller pitch for greater precision and strength under axial forces.
Thread Profile Angle:
The thread profile has a 60° angle, according to the ISO international standard.
