The caliper F 1000/30 is mainly used for measuring the thickness of thin sheets or cellophane, bags. Unlike more sensitive and precise models, one revolution of its pointer equals 0.2 mm (instead of 0.1 mm). This makes it more resistant to temperature changes or other environmental influences, meaning you do not need to zero it as frequently. Finally, the contact force it exerts on the material during measurement is approximately 2.2 N.
